New light for the meeting room of the Viersen district administration
In the course of the fundamental modernization of the meeting room, the forum and the adjoining meeting rooms of the Viersen district administration, one aspect in particular was the focus of attention: the new lighting. The original architecture from 1983 is a striking example of post-modernism. In order to preserve the design character of the rooms, a lighting concept was developed that picks up on the striking design language and at the same time opens up new technical possibilities. Modern LED luminaires, in different diameters from 1.8m up to 21m, blend harmoniously into the existing architecture and follow the geometry of the room. The lighting system is dynamically programmable and enables various lighting scenarios - from functional brightness for meetings to atmospheric light for receptions or presentations.
