Historisches Rathaus Köln

RSL special luminaires for the Historical Town Hall in Cologne.

Innovative LED lighting that blends harmoniously into the architectural context of the different sections of the building. In close collaboration with lighting designer Anette Hartung, the interior design office LEPEL + LEPEL, the installer Elektro Meißner and the city of Cologne, a detailed and modern design language for the new RSL luminaires was developed.

At the heart of the project is the historical Hansa Hall, which is equipped with 24 elegantly suspended light structures. In total, the installation features 544 individually controllable LED light sources that create a special and timeless lighting experience.
